Datassential Privacy Notice: B2B Marketing

We’d like to let you know how we are processing your personal data.

1. Who are we and why are we contacting you?

1a. We are Datassential Inc. (“Datassential”, or “we”), a company based in the USA that provides food and beverage intelligence solutions for businesses.  We are located at 176 N Racine Ave Suite 250, Chicago, IL 60607, USA. You are receiving this privacy notice because we have obtained your personal data from one or more of the third party data providers we utilize. These providers include Cognism Limited (“Cognism”), LinkedIn Corporation (“LinkedIn Sales Navigator”), and ZoomInfo Technologies Inc (“ZoomInfo”). Datassential respects your privacy and wants you to be informed about how we collect, use and process your personal data as a data controller.

1b. This privacy notice covers the use of the personal information we have obtained about you from any of the third party data providers referenced in section 1a for business-to-business marketing purposes and supplements the information contained in our Privacy Policy. 2. What data are we processing about you?

2a. In the event that Datassential has obtained any of your personal information from any one of the third party providers listed in section 1a, that personal information may include some or all of the following: your name, business email address, business phone number, location, employment history, skills, employer, employer location, technographic data, chronographic data, and intent data (collectively, the ”Third Party Data”).

2b. In addition, we may add the Third Party Data to information we already hold about you and we may obtain information directly from you, or automatically from your computer or device when you engage with us, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

3. How did we collect your personal data?

3a. Unless you have provided us with direct information, then we have obtained your Third-Party Data from a database provided by one or more of the Third Party Data providers listed in section 1a. 4. Why are we processing your personal data?

4a. Datassential processes the Third Party Data and other business contact information we hold about you for the purposes of marketing our products and services to your business or the business you work for.  We do this by contacting you and we may do this through email, over the phone or by other means. We may also use your personal data for analytics purposes and measuring how well our marketing campaigns have performed; product development; and research purposes.

4b. We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

5. Our Legal Basis for Processing your Personal Data

5a. Your personal data has been processed by Datassential in reliance on our legitimate interest in business to business marketing of our products and services to your business or employer through you. In some cases, we will seek your consent to conduct this marketing.

5b. You can always opt out of further communications from Datassential by contacting us using the details below or by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, and completing the form therein.

6. International Data Transfers

6a. Your personal information may be collected, transferred to, and stored by Datassential in the United States and by our affiliates and service providers that are based in other countries. 7a. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for marketing purposes. You can do this by replying to the sender of the marketing email or by contacting us using the details provided below.

You also have additional rights in relation to your personal data, which can be exercised at any time, such as a right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data, a right to restrict processing concerning your personal data, a right to object to processing of your personal data, and a right to data portability.
